Comet
03  /  How you introduce yourself

Every buyer meets the same introduction. This is it.

This is not about the web page. It is just the quickest way to see what you think you are selling, so it is where I started.

Captured live at full desktop width on 2 September 2026. Nothing removed, nothing rearranged.

The headline

“Trusted to clean homes since 1956”

A date. True, and the only line on the page that comes close to what buyers say.

The line under it

“We provide all types of cleaning care to keep your home safe, comfortable, and worry free”

Could sit under any cleaning brand in the aisle.

The three cards

“Powerful Cleaning Performance.” “Versatile Multi-Surface Use.” “Trusted Freshness and Value.” The first one says the product is “engineered with a proven formula.”

Three claims about the product. In 89 reviews, none of these words appear.

The photograph

Comet Ultra Bathroom Spray, on the edge of a shower.

The spray. Not the can with 22,600 ratings.

Why the page looks like this

“Comet Cleaner is engineered with a proven formula that cuts through tough grease, soap scum, and grime.”

The page is that sentence, drawn. A brand explaining what it does, the way a new brand has to. Comet is seventy years old and its buyers do not need it explained. They need it to still be there, and to still be the same.
